Most dogs need a slow & steady transition from one food to another. Simply start with adding a small amount of OC Raw Dog Freeze Dried food to any diet and slowly start adding more while decreasing the old food until you are feeding 100% OC Raw Dog. This process can take days or weeks depending on the sensitivity of the dog's digestive system.
The chart below is a general feeding guideline:

For every ounce of freeze dried food you need to add 2 ounces of water to reconstitute it. Depending on your dog's preference of texture will depend on how long you need to let the food sit. If you want it wet and soup-ish it may only take a few minutes. If you want the texture to closely resemble the frozen version it could take as long as 8 hours. If you want to re-hydrate completely, we recommend letting the food soak in the refrigerator overnight.
Please NoteFor maximum freshness, we recommend you store the food in the bag and keep it sealed when not in use. Store at room temperature in a cool, dry space. We recommend you store the food separate from ready-to-eat foods and always wash your hands, bowls and handling surfaces with hot soapy water after use. If the food is not completely consumed within 2 hours, you may store it in the refrigerator until the next feeding, after 24 hours discard any leftovers.
