Many cats that struggle with hairballs are indoor cats who get less activity than those with access to indoor/outdoors. Nulo’s hairball management recipes have the added benefits of moderate fat levels and L-Carnitine help to support a lean body condition for adult cats.
Nulo’s high levels of animal-based proteins and amino acids that are highly digestible, Omega-3’s from Salmon Oil, and Omega’6’s from Chicken Fat work together to support coat maintenance (less shedding).

It takes time to transition your pet to a new food without having digestive upset. Over the course of one to two weeks, you should gradually switch from the old food to the new. Start with a 75% old to 25% new mix, then 50:50, and finally 25:75, until you have switched to Nulo food entirely.
A cat’s requirement may vary due to age, breed, environment and activity level. Adjust food as required to maintain optimal body weight. Always provide plenty of clean, fresh water and hugs.
